The Rev. John B. O'Connell Council 14600 Knights of Columbus is a Catholic Family Fraternal Organization which was established at St. Martha's on July 9, 2008. Our mission is to assist the parish, school and community. Our business meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of every month and are restricted to the members only. Our social meetings are held on the 4th Monday of every month and are open to all parishioners. We are men of faith, guided not only by our belief in God and the Catholic Church, but by our belief in each other and in ourselves.
Council Meetings – 2nd Monday (Business Meeting) – Goulet Hall – 7:30 p.m.
What most people do not know about the Knights are the many benefits offered to members and their families. Here are just a few:
The Council has hosted a Pancake breakfast with St. Nick each year with the proceeds going to the school. We hold a Lenten Meal (Fish Fry) dinner during lent with the proceeds going toward a scholarship fund created by the council. We assist with the Fall Festival set up and clean up. We host the St. Martha Parish Family Picnic each year. These are just a few of the programs in which the members and their families are involved in at St. Martha.
If you believe in the importance of investing your time in friendship, in the Church, and in helping others, the Knights of Columbus is for you. The Knights of Columbus is an organization of Catholic men and their families that derive a great sense of satisfaction from being able to develop lasting friendships with each other while helping the less fortunate.
